Self-drive vs guided safari: which is right for you?

One of the first questions we ask travellers is whether they would prefer to drive themselves or be guided.
Self-drive offers total freedom. You set the pace, stop when you like, and feel a real sense of adventure, all while we handle the route, vehicle and bookings behind the scenes. Namibia's roads are well-suited to it.
A guided safari trades some independence for depth. A great guide reads the bush, finds wildlife you would drive past, and shares stories that bring the landscape alive. It is also the most relaxing way to travel.
There is no wrong answer, and we often blend the two. Tell us how you like to travel and we will design accordingly.
